Best Buy Car Show for the American Cancer Society
Ladies and Gentlemen:
On the morning of July 3, 2010, Best Buy of Corpus Christi will be hosting the 1st Annual Import and Classic Car Show. This event will be held at and hosted by Best Buy for the sole purpose of raising money for the Relay for Life. All proceeds of this Car Show are being donated to the American Cancer Society to
As the event coordinator of the 1st Annual Best Buy Car Show, I am submitting you this letter in hopes of gaining your support by your presence at the event. Pre-registration will be $20 per vehicle or $25 the day of the event. Your support and donations will be strongly appreciated, advertised and acknowledged throughout Best Buy, the American Cancer Society and the entire Corpus Christi and surrounding area.
We will have local tv and radio stations present, goodie bags for the first 100 participants, music and food. Also we will be presenting awards for Best in Show, Best Sound System, People's Choice, Most Unique and Largest Organization present. I know that preparing a vehicle for such an event is very important therefore I have decided to have the event from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. Any participation and/or contributions that you could offer in support of our fight against Cancer would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged.

There will be plenty of food and drinks available and places to park the cars on Main Street.
Music will start at 2pm in the upstairs dance hall with Conjunto/Cajun/polka sounds from Los Pinkys and Gulf Coast Playboys and then at 6 pm Austin's Own Modern Day Don Juans and Chadd Thomas & The Crazy Kings and Houston's Johnny Falstaff will bring Rockabilly/Country/Jump Blues to the hall.
