Just wanted to let you know about and invite you and any of your club members to head on down and join us for the annual Mission Classic Car Show. The City of Mission hosts this event and a number of local old car enthusiasts do all the work to put it together. The show will be held on Saturday, February 27th. The event is absolutely 100% FREE to enter, no entry fee, no registration fee, no admission fee, no parking fee. There will be over $5,000 in cash and prizes given away for winner's in various classes. Event is open to all 1976 or older vehicles. Last year there were over 400 entries in this show. Goodie bags and dash plaques are given to all who pre-register. Free T-shirts to first 100 entries. There have been a number of folks from Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Dallas, etc. who come down and join us each year. This year we already have about 15 pre-registered from San Antonio area as well. We would love to have you come down and join us. More info is available at www.rgvoldcars.com . Road Rally through the Pine Forests of Bastrop Texas. The 3rd Annual Bastrop Rotary Road Rally takes place Saturday, April 10th and includes meals at the start and finish along with entertainment from three area bands and many prizes. All proceeds go to charity and we hope that you can join us.

1st Annual Bluebonnet Fest Show-N-Shine Car and Truck Show
The La Vernia Lions Club would like to invite you to participate in the 1st Annual Bluebonnet Fest Show-N-Shine Car and Truck Show.
The event will be held May 15, 2010 from 11am - 4pm at the La Vernia City Park during the 32nd Annual Bluebonnet Fest and is open to all cars and trucks. This a free event with no judging. We will be passing out a commemorative dash plaque to the first 200 vehicles at the event.
In addition to the Show-N-Shine, this year’s Bluebonnet Fest will feature a carnival for kids and the young at heart, a volleyball tournament, vendor booths full of arts and crafts from local artisans, lots of food and drink booths, a live auction, and a raffle. The day ends with a free dance featuring Clint Taft and the Buck Wild Band. All proceeds from this event go to fund our many charitable contributions to the La Vernia Community.
Would you like to drive your car in the Bluebonnet Fest Parade? The parade starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 and traditionally attracts many participants and crowds of spectators from local and surrounding communities. If you would like to participate in the parade, please read the attached Parade Application (1st page) carefully, fill out the Parade Entry Form (2nd page) completely and mail to the address at the bottom of the form before April 30, 2010 to reserve your spot in the parade.

29th Annual Moses Lake Spring Festival Car Show
Will be held at a NEW location downtown. Enter from 3rd Avenue & Gumwood Street, Moses Lake, WA.
Show will cover 4+ blocks on 3rd Ave near the festival activities and downtown shopping.

Music will start at 2pm in the upstairs dance hall with Conjunto/Cajun/polka sounds from Los Pinkys and Gulf Coast Playboys and then at 6 pm Austin's Own Modern Day Don Juans and Chadd Thomas & The Crazy Kings and Houston's Johnny Falstaff will bring Rockabilly/Country/Jump Blues to the hall.
