Just a little history

From John Bradley

"Us car guys that went to Jefferson High drove our cars in a circle between Buddys and Triple x on weekends. I did that even after graduating in 1960 and continued with my first fast 57 Chevy HT (never was beat on the street or track) quite a car and a lot of good times and memories."

"I built the engine, .060 over 283 (292 CI), with all the machine work done by Hardy at Radicke's auto supply. Bubbie Radicke was just a young kid running around in his dad's auto parts store."

"In the early 60's many of the old club members went to the Bun regularly on weekends mainly on Friday nights. We also went to the Bun after GG meetings. Some meetings were actually held at the Bun but I don't remember many there. Most of the early 60's GG meetings were held at old Frontier Drive In at the corner of Fred Rd and Club drive."
